"Puce fairy book" a poem by Alice major and "forget Prince Charming" a short story by June Callwood both discuss the fact that know one or know two people can be perfect. In "puce fairy book" A girl uses fairytale refrences to prove to her man that no she is not " Rapunzel waiting in a tower with braids of hair like ropes" but that she is a girl who's hair "would never grow long enough" meaning that she is who she and if you cant love her like that then walk away. In "Forget Prince Charming" Callwood talks about how there is no such thing as the perfect man and that most "prince Charmings" are self centered twits. When looking for a mate you should be looking for the inside qualities of a person not there style of jean. Both of these pieces of texts talk about how no one is perfect and no love is perfect. There is no such thing as a true "happily ever after" because a healthy loving relationships should have fight should have anger because that means you care for each other and are willing to fight for each other.
